So, the now officially released AbiWord 2.7 development branch contains the happy multipage feature I talked about all last summer. Yes! You can check it out here. You may notice that it’s all flickery if you use the feature with documents other than those containing 72 point font. I didn’t notice it at the time because I was, um, testing the feature using unrealistic, simplistic test documents filled with the aforementioned font.

Dearest Blackboard, For active course sites, Blackboard does a horriblejob keeping the student up to date on what they need to be working on. Even if (and especially if) the instructor has entered all the course data and assignments at the start of the semester, the student still has to dig through at least three links to get to their assignment. This is what is known as a bad user experience.

Greetings! Through the generosity of DreamHost, I have come into a bit free hosting for a while. No doubt they expect their generosity to effect feelings of charity and good will.
